On November 19 Lammhults Möbel AB acquired Borks Patenttavler A/S i Kolding, Denmark.
Borks Patenttavler A/S is the leading company in Denmark when it comes to writing boards. Borks has its own factory and the products are sold in Denmark, the rest of Europe and also in the US. The company has a turnover of approx. 50 MSEK and a number of 36 employees. The acquisition is expected to contribute to Lammhults Design Group´s result. "With this acquisition, we move forward our markets position in the Nordic countries, and secure our leading position within an interesting product area." says Anders Rothstein, President and CEO, Lammhults Design Group.
Lammhults Möbel AB already manages two brands, Lammhults and Abstracta. The acquisition of the brand Borks will, together with the brand Abstracta, strengthen our offer within this product area and will create possible syneriges within e.g. purchasing, production and sales.
